❓ Help — how to use this page

What this is

Ascension is a single HTML file: a three-card oracle for practicing first impressions, and a grimoire with a guided path (P1–P6), a session toolkit (breath, copy lines, checklist, log, tips), and further reading links. Everything runs in your browser — no account, no server.

The opening splash shows once per browser tab session (until you close the tab). Use Replay opening on the title menu to see it again. Tap Exit (top-right) or Skip to bypass the fade if you’re in a hurry.

Playing on PC or online (browser)

Open Ascension in Chrome, Edge, or Firefox on a computer, or host the page at a URL you control. Use the mouse or trackpad — tap or click cards and buttons. There is no separate login on the web; Pro: on / off on the title menu toggles Master content for free in the browser.

  • Play the game — three-card Queen trainer (Basic or Suit combo).
  • Pro: on — shows Master level (five-card) and extended grimoire sections.
  • Grimoire & help — guided path, session toolkit, and this help panel.
  • Scores and journal text live in that browser’s storage. Use Master level → Data & tools → Export before switching computers or clearing site data.

Playing on Android (Google Play app)

The Play build bundles the same page offline in a WebView. Master level is a one-time $4.99 unlock (ascension_pro_unlock in Play Console). Sign in with Google on the title menu, then use Restore purchase on the same Google Play account if you reinstall or change phones.

Reading order

  1. From the title menu, use Pro: on / off to show Master content: the Master level (five-card) link and the extended grimoire inside Grimoire & help. Palettes are under Settings. Play the game is the three-card Queen trainer; Grimoire & help is the main guide.
  2. Optional: open Help (this panel) when you’re new.
  3. Skim or deep-read the grimoire (P1–P6) — use the jump links in that section. The session toolkit and further reading are on the same page, below the path.

Queen tracker — rules (short)

  • Three face cards (Queen of Spades, Hearts, Diamonds) flash face-up, turn to backs, then swap positions with sliding motion for a few seconds.
  • Basic: click the card you think is the Queen of Spades.
  • Suit combo: after a correct Spades pick, click the Queen of Hearts or Diamonds as instructed — no second shuffle.
  • New round starts the sequence again (tap the button on the game screen).

HUD

  • Streak — consecutive wins (resets on a loss).
  • Wins — total wins in this browser.
  • Rank — streak milestone (Apprentice / Master / Enlightened).
  • Round — session round counter; Played — finished rounds stored locally.

Records & achievements

Local records & achievements lists Queen stats and recent rounds; achievements unlock from play. Toasts announce new unlocks. Everything is local — Reset clears it.

Session toolkit

Session toolkit, tips & ethics in the grimoire: 4-2-6 breath (tap Stop on the breath control while running), copy buttons for short lines, prep checklist and session log (local storage on this device only), plus rotating tips and a short ethics blurb. You can also reach it from links on the game screen.

Appearance & settings

Settings on the title menu offers Dark / Light / Match system and optional color schemes (Aurora, Ember, Moss, Violet) that layer on top. Saved in this browser as ascension_theme and ascension_palette. You can also try Close tab / exit — some browsers only allow that for windows they opened themselves.

Grimoire toolbar

Expand all / Collapse all affect the session toolkit block, main parts P1–P6, and (when Pro is on) the + (Master) extended sections — not this Help panel. Jump links open the matching section and expand it if you arrived via the URL hash.

Privacy, backup & reset

Scores, Pro stats, leaderboard, achievements, game records, journal text, and checklist live in your browser’s storage. Clearing site data or using another browser starts fresh. Master level → Data & tools (when you open that screen) can export a JSON backup of all ascension_* keys and import it later. Use Reset stats & checklist on the title menu to wipe main game and Pro data on this device (export first if you care about the numbers).

Accessibility & motion

Use the skip links at the top to jump to the game, Pro, or grimoire. If your system prefers reduced motion, sparkles and some animations are toned down automatically.

📖 The Path — stilling the static

Developing ESP (Extra-Sensory Perception) is, in many traditions, not about gaining a new power, but about removing the static that blocks your natural intuitive perception. Working with grounding, prana, and chi is the foundational step to clear that static.

Here is a structured guide, moving from foundational energy work to specific ESP exercises. Open each part when you’re ready — then play the oracle below to practice first impressions in a low-stakes way.

~20 min full read · open only what you need
Part 1 — The absolute foundation: grounding & the energy body

You cannot build a sensitive antenna on a shaky tower. Grounding is your tower. Prana/Chi is your signal.

What grounding does

Connects your energy system to the Earth’s stable, negative ionic charge. It prevents you from becoming “spacey,” anxious, or overwhelmed by subtle energies. A grounded person is stable, present, and clear.

The root grounding meditation

Do this daily for 2 weeks before moving on.

Posture: Sit in a chair with feet flat on the floor. Spine straight but not rigid. Hands resting on thighs.

Initial breath: Close your eyes. Take 5 deep belly breaths. Inhale through nose for 4 seconds, hold for 2, exhale through mouth for 6 seconds. Let tension go.

The root: Bring your awareness to the base of your spine (perineum area) and the soles of your feet. Imagine a warm, red-gold light there.

The taproot: Visualize a thick, flexible cord of this red-gold light growing from your tailbone and the bottoms of your feet, drilling down through the floor, the soil, the bedrock, deep into the center of the Earth.

The exchange: Feel your cord connect to the Earth’s core — a vast, molten, intelligent energy. Inhale. Draw up a slow, thick, dark brown/silver energy from the Earth up your cord, into your feet, legs, torso. It feels heavy, safe, and calming. Exhale. Send any stress, anxiety, or “static” down the cord into the Earth to be composted.

The anchor: Spend 5–10 minutes just feeling this flow. You are a tree. You are a mountain. You are stable. Open your eyes. Notice how much more present you feel.

Part 2 — Cultivating prana / chi: the signal fuel

Once grounded, you build your internal battery. Prana is the life force. A strong pranic field acts as a lens to focus intuitive information.

Key concept

Prana follows awareness. Where you put your attention, energy flows.

The microcosmic orbit (simple version)

After grounding, bring your awareness to your lower belly (2 inches below the navel, deep inside). This is the Lower Dantian — your energy battery. Imagine a warm, glowing pearl there.

  • Inhale. Draw energy from the pearl down your front torso, to your perineum (base of spine).
  • Exhale. Draw that energy up your spine, over the crown of your head, and down your face to the tip of your tongue.
  • Touch the tip of your tongue to the roof of your mouth just behind your front teeth. This completes the circuit.
  • Inhale again, draw the energy from your tongue down your front torso back to the pearl in your belly.

Repeat for 5–10 minutes. You are circulating your life force. You may feel warmth, tingling, or a sense of expansion.

Quick chi trick for ESP

Rub your hands together vigorously for 15 seconds until you feel heat and a magnetic resistance. Then slowly pull your hands apart 2 inches, then push them back together without touching. Feel the “springy” ball of chi between them. This is your energetic sensory organ. You can learn to “feel” the energy of objects, people, or places with these hands.

Part 3 — ESP development: tips & tricks

Now you are grounded (stable receiver) and have charged your chi (sensitive receiver). Practical exercises:

1. “Remote viewing” of a friend (telepathy / clairvoyance)

Setup: Have a friend in another room (or think of someone you know well). Ask them to look at a simple, vivid object (a red apple, a blue mug, a yellow tennis ball) for 60 seconds.

Your role: Get grounded. Rub your hands to activate chi. Close your eyes. Place your palms facing the direction of that person. Ask internally: “What is the dominant color? What is the shape? What is the sensation?”

The trick: Don’t try to “see” with your eyes. Feel for the impression in your hands and your gut. The first fleeting thought that pops in (“blue… no, red… round…”) is often useful signal. Your logical mind will reject it. Trust the first impression. Write it down before your brain edits it.

2. The Zener card DIY (clairvoyance)

Make 5 cards: circle, square, star, wavy line, cross on index cards. Shuffle face down. Pick the top card. Don’t look. Hold it in your non-dominant hand. Close your eyes. Ask: “What is the fundamental energy of this symbol?”

  • Circle — continuous, soft, encompassing.
  • Square — solid, blocked, structured, heavy.
  • Star — sharp, expansive, prickly.
  • Wavy lines — fluid, moving, cool.
  • Cross — intersection, tension, a “+” of energy.

You are not “seeing.” You are feeling the chi signature of the shape. Guess from the feeling. Practice ~10 minutes daily. Chance is 20%; with trust you may climb toward stronger hit rates.

3. The “person envelope” test (psychometry)

Have a friend place a small metal object (ring, key) or a photo in an envelope. Without opening it, hold the envelope in your grounded hands. Rub your chi hands first.

Ask: “What is the emotional residue? Man or woman? Calm or anxious? Recent or old?”

The trick: Let images, words, smells, or feelings pop into your head. A sudden taste of coffee might mean they drink coffee. A feeling of a hard floor might mean an office. Do not judge — record.

Part 4 — The “master key”: third eye & theta state

ESP is often easier in the Theta brainwave state (just before sleep / upon waking), when analytical “static” is softer.

The twilight trick

Every night as you fall asleep, and every morning as you wake (before opening your eyes), ask a simple question into the darkness:

  • “What will I need to know today?”
  • “What is my friend X feeling right now?”
  • “Show me a symbol for my current challenge.”

Do not force an answer. Ask, then let go and drift. The answer may come as a sudden knowing, a dream, or a synchronicity later that day.

⚠️ Crucial warnings & ethics

Grounding is not optional. Un-grounded ESP can feed anxiety, paranoia, spaciness, and burnout. If you feel dizzy or unwell, stop. Touch grass (literally). Eat a meal. Do your grounding cord.

Protection is hygiene, not fear. Before practice, state: “I only connect to information that is for my highest good and the highest good of all. I disconnect from any energy that is not mine.” Visualize a bubble of white-gold light around you — energetic skin.

No spying. Using ESP to intrude on private thoughts or futures without permission is an energetic violation. It degrades clarity and character. Ask silently: “May I see what is for my highest good to know?” If you feel a heavy “no” or a wall, stop.

Develop the “no” muscle. Refuse information that feels invasive, scary, or low-vibration. Ground and disconnect immediately.

📅 Your 7-day starter routine

  • Morning: 5 min grounding meditation (cord to Earth).
  • Day: 2 min chi hand-rub — feel the energy ball.
  • Evening: 5 min microcosmic orbit.
  • Night: Twilight question before sleep. Journal by the bed.
  • Weekend: Person-envelope test with a trusted friend.
Part 5 — Pocket protocols, aftercare & mini glossary

⚡ Sixty-second grounding (busy days)

Feet flat. Three slow exhales longer than inhales. Imagine roots from soles and tailbone into the Earth. On the last exhale, drop shoulders and jaw. You’re not replacing the full cord meditation — you’re reminding the body what stable feels like before any subtle work.

🌿 Aftercare (when a session felt “big”)

Wash hands with cool water. Eat something warm or salty. Walk a few minutes, or stand barefoot if safe. Name three ordinary objects in the room out loud. This helps the nervous system land — especially after strong imagery or emotion.

🪶 Session log template (one line)

Date · exercise · first guess (before peeking) · outcome · body state (tired/calm/etc.) · one lesson. The lesson matters more than being “right.”

📖 Mini glossary

Prana / chi
Traditional words for vitality or life-force — often framed as moving with breath and attention. Useful as a map, not a lab measurement.
Dantian (lower)
Energy center below the navel — taught as a storage and grounding hub in many Taoist / qigong lineages.
Theta
A relaxed brain state common at sleep edges; hypnagogic imagery and soft focus show up more easily. Not magic — biology.
Psychometry
Reading impressions from objects — best treated as associative intuition you test ethically, not as courtroom evidence.
Clairvoyance (in this guide)
Used loosely for inner seeing or sensing; here we emphasize felt-sense and first impression, not Hollywood visuals.
Part 6 — Clear seeing: bias, troubleshooting & real life

🧩 How honest minds fool themselves (and how to stay honest)

  • Confirmation bias — remembering hits and forgetting misses. Fix: log every trial, not just exciting ones.
  • Barnum effect — vague statements feel personal. Fix: ask for specific, falsifiable details (color, shape, number) before feedback.
  • Expectation & fear — stress paints the channel. Fix: if you’re anxious about an outcome, do not read on that topic until you’re grounded.
  • Pareidolia & pattern hunger — brains find faces in clouds. Fix: treat weird imagery as maybe-symbol, maybe-noise until life repeats the theme.

🩹 Troubleshooting

  • Spacey, floating, or “too open” — stop practice. Full grounding cord, protein meal, outdoor steps. Skip subtle work until you feel heavy in your feet again.
  • Pressure in head or mild headache — often tension or breath-holding. Soften jaw, breathe through nose, look at horizon, drink water. If it persists, rest; seek medical care if severe or sudden.
  • Obsessive checking — pulling cards or demanding signs every hour. That’s anxiety wearing a mystical mask. Limit sessions; use a timer; return to ordinary life.
  • Grandiose certainty — “I know exactly what they think.” Real discernment usually feels quiet, not loud. Loud certainty deserves skepticism.

🧠 Mental health boundary

ESP practice is not therapy. If you’re hearing commanding voices, feel persecuted, or can’t sleep or eat, pause all exercises and talk to a qualified clinician. What some traditions call “spiritual emergency” can overlap with medical issues — you deserve grounded support.

🌍 Bringing it into ordinary life

Let intuition inform small decisions you can verify: call the friend you thought of; check the thing you almost ignored. Build trust through feedback loops, not through bigger and wilder claims. Keep earning a living, sleeping, and relating like a mammal — the subtle path works inside a stable life, not instead of one.

👥 Others, children & power

People you read for deserve dignity and consent (where possible). Avoid fear-based pronouncements. With kids, favor coaching presence over labeling them “psychic” — identity is fragile; skills can grow without a fixed story. Never use impressions to manipulate, guilt, or control.

The greatest “trick” is consistency and relaxation. The harder you try, the less you’ll perceive. Be a relaxed, grounded, curious observer. The signal is already there — you are learning to tune the dial.

Curated further reading (mixed perspectives)

Links are a starting list for learning; the authors of Ascension do not endorse every claim in third-party material. Use critical reading and, where health is concerned, work with qualified professionals. If you are in acute crisis, contact local emergency services or a national / regional helpline where you live; this app is not a crisis service.

🃏 Play the Queen game 🎴 Open Master level (five-card game)

Pro grimoire (Master) — leveled-up practices

Denser material: assume you already know the basics in the main grimoire (P1–P6). Add slowly; skip anything that feels off.

Leveled up grounding: beyond the root cord

1. The Earth grid anchor (planetary circuit)

Basic: a single cord to Earth’s core.

Leveled up: visualize five grounding points simultaneously: soles of both feet, perineum, palms of both hands. From each, send a crystalline filament down or out to connect to the Earth’s subtle energy grid (ley lines, planetary chakras). Feel your personal field lock into the planet’s geomagnetic rhythm. In many traditions, this is said to help reduce psychic “bleed” and to settle lower-astral static. Treat it as a somatic+imaginal exercise, not a claim about physics.

2. The cosmic drain (reverse grounding)

After deep Earth contact, you can imagine drawing subtle presence downward from a wide, calm sky-ward direction (a symbol some maps call “upward to galactic center”), meeting your crown, flowing through, and spilling to root into Earth—like rinsing. Intention: to clear “dense” or sticky imagery and rumination after long sessions. Stop or simplify if you get dizzy, hollow, or headachey.

3. Grounding in motion (kinesthetic)

Walk barefoot on natural ground when you can. With each step, mentally: “this foot knows the weight of the planet” — then: “this foot knows the openness of the sky” — and alternate. You are training a felt contrast between earthing and lifting, not forcing beliefs.

Leveled up prana / chi: advanced “energetic plumbing”

1. The microcosmic orbit — add depth

Basic: path often mapped belly → perineum → spine → crown → palette → belly.

Leveled up (imaginal): if your lineage maps a horizontal “belt” around the trunk and “thrusting” or side channels, you can gently explore them as a full-body circuit, always without strain. Breathe, soften jaw, and stop if you feel head pressure, unsteadiness, or detachment. These maps vary—follow a teacher in those traditions; don’t contort the body into pain.

2. Prana retention and bandha-style work

Some pranayama lineages add mild locks after inhale, with short, comfortable retentions, then release. Do not force long breath holds from a web page. If you explore formal bandha training, do it with in-person instruction, stay within a range where you are never dizzy, darkening vision, or chest-pressing. A mild hold that stays pleasant is a better signal than a heroic one.

3. Chi vortex (imaginal) for “scanning” exercises

After you have a calm warm-cool felt sense between the hands, it can be framed as a gentle cone in front of a neutral, consented target. Intention is not “punch through privacy”—it is soft perception practice. Ethical rule: for anything involving people, default to obvious consent and avoid fixation on a specific person in distress without support.

Leveled up ESP techniques and experiments

Remote viewing — stricter protocols

Advanced RV work in published literature is sessioned, blinding is strict, and data is pre-registered where possible. For personal practice, think “journaling+analysis,” not public proof. If a method promises “bypass the logical mind with contradictory questions,” use it as a creativity trick, and still log your guesses ahead of time.

“Signal hygiene” and shielding

Asking for cleaner inner quiet can be a useful metaphor (filters, room tone, “Faraday of attention”). The science story is: reduce rumination, reduce sensory overload, sleep well. Pair visualization with sleep, therapy when needed, and not listening at people who are struggling without consent.

Dream ESP and anchors

Water-on-nightstand, intention phrases, and morning writing are standard dream-work hygiene. The water is a ritual object if you like rituals; the science bit is: consistent recall practice.

Bilocation and “double” work

Any practice that suggests sending an “energetic copy” to real rooms: keep it in your own home first, treat it as a memory+imagination test, and avoid weaponizing the idea. High anxiety can mimic “travel”—ground first.

Psychometry with distance

“No touch” is still somatic: you are noticing micro muscle tension, breathing change, and expectation. If you do object work, never replace medical or legal fact-finding with impressions.

Theta / gamma and advanced states

“Wide awake and deeply relaxed at once” is a real meditation target in some lineages, but reports of OBE-like phenomena exist and can be unsettling. Always anchor: feet on floor, a physical object, time on a clock, and a friend who knows you practice. Stop and seek help if you feel you are losing a grip on reality—some experiences overlap with health issues.

Advanced ethics, hygiene, and a one-week challenge (summarized)

Three habits from the “leveled up” list

  • Don’t do covert “scanning” of other people. If you get a no-feeling, stop—treat that as a boundary, not a puzzle to break.
  • Write and date time-sensitive intuitive hits before you open feedback—reduces your own later editing and hindsight bias (not a physics claim; it’s a logging habit).
  • After long sessions, cool water on hands, stretch, and walk. Basic nervous-system reset, whatever words you use for it.

“One week” challenge (compressed from your outline)

  1. Two days: short sessions on a five-point grounding image you can sustain without tension.
  2. One day: gentle pranayama only—no record-breaking breath holds; comfort first.
  3. One day: a few at-home object impressions at distance, with honest logging (hits and misses).
  4. One day: a single, quiet RV-style prompt with a blindable photo if you can.
  5. One day: light dream protocol + one paragraph on wake.
  6. One day: calm sitting that mixes open eyes with relaxed body, short duration, stone-in-hand if it helps; stop on weird dissociation.
  7. Journal compare: the “leveled up” product is discernment and steadiness, not a bigger story about yourself.

Original prompt included detailed bandha timings, a “300%” anecdotal claim, and a full seven-day runbook. We trimmed the medical-adjacent intensity of breath holds and numeric promises while keeping the spirit of a progressive week. Always defer to a qualified teacher for formal bandha, and a clinician for new neurological or psychiatric symptoms.
